- Open your web browser and type the private IP Address of the router in the URL field. (192.168.0.1)
- Go to Maintenance→Admin Setup→Login Parameter.
- Change the default Web Management Port for security and Web Idle Timeout so as not to log out after a specific period of inactivity. The Default Web Management Port is 80.
- Go to Maintenance→Setup→Remote Management
- Leave Subnet/Mask as it is, select activate then click Add.
- Now, to access remotely if you're using Static IP, you should type “http://IP address:port” to login the Router. E.g.: If the Web Management Port is changed to 88, type http://IP address:88 in the address field to login the Router. But, if you're in a DHCP or Automatically Obtained IP address it is wise to use IP Updater like DynDNS for you to be able to use hostnames instead of IP addresses. E.g.: http://myrouter.dyndns.org:port
